'I guess every girl goes through a photography phase'...

maybe this is all just a phase...

i do like taking dumb pictures of my feet...

summer is almost here and im getting very excited...

it means long afternoons in the fields...

and even longer nights sat swinging my legs over the river by the arnolfini...

with a cider in my hand...

gabby took some photos of me...

(and an accompanying film)...

in a tim walker style setting...

we got a bit delirious with all the fresh air and sunlight...

but produced some good results...

over exposing an image is every photographers nightmare...

atleast thats what your taught to think...

hobogestapo and mark borthwick are brilliant at capitalising on this 'mistake'...

they over expose their work and create a delicate and eery image...

i've taken those influences and done the opposite...

here is an undelicate and funny image of my brother...

not quite as beautiful as mark borthwicks work...

but i will get there...

i promise...

on sunday we went to the pick me up exhibition at somerset house...

it was interesting to see all the different prints by different artists...

most were screen prints...

which ofcourse if a favourite medium of mine...

one artists work in particular resonated in me...

that of one erin petson...

(of which i have stolen her tiger)...

her work was clearly fashion influenced...

and showed beautiful girls with animals, heels and flowers...

some of my favourite things...

this piece is my response to what i saw...

all my own photography and half my drawing efforts...

the world always needs beautiful things to look at...

lets keep creating them...

joe's kitchen has become synonymous with drinking tales...

we sit around the oak table and consume copious amounts of alcohol...

we all have our height measurements on the wall...

and have many stories of drunken games...

this time it was joe and joe, known to most as joe squared...

that wanted to play tool time...

ofcourse us girls thought that power tools...

and vodka was not a good mix...

so confiscated them for a more sober day...

boys and their bloody toys...

'be kind to your knee's...

you'll miss them when there gone'...

wear lace cycling shorts...

with denim shorts on top...

and you'll be one of the cool kids...
